D.A. Davidson & Co. announced today a regional restructuring of its Wealth Management division and branch leadership changes.
With the restructuring, a new East Region will be led by Chris Barone, and includes the Carolinas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, and Virginia. Joely Meighan will continue to lead the West Region, comprised of California, Nevada, Northern Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Luke Vinnola has been appointed to lead the Rocky Mountain Region, encompassing Colorado, Montana, Southern Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming.
“As our business continues to grow and expand into new markets, it is important that our organizational structure evolves alongside it,” said Michael Purpura, President of Wealth Management at D.A. Davidson. “Our updated structure, with three regional directors, strengthens our branch coverage and ensures we are well positioned to meet the needs of our advisors and branches.”
Chris Barone, Senior Vice President and Regional Director, has assumed leadership of the newly created East Region. Since 2019, he has served as regional director of the Rocky Mountain Region. Barone joined the firm in 2009. Throughout his 47-year career in the financial services industry, he has been recognized for his leadership and has held numerous roles including financial advisor, branch manager, and regional director.
Joely Meighan, Senior Vice President and Regional Director, will continue to lead the West Region. Meighan has been with D.A. Davidson since 1995, working in positions of progressive responsibility. Before becoming a regional director in 2022, she served as Director of Managed Assets and Co-Director of Advisor Solutions, where her leadership and vision were instrumental in the growth of the firm’s advisory programs.
Luke Vinnola has been appointed Senior Vice President and Regional Director for the Rocky Mountain Region. Previously, he served as D.A. Davidson’s Director of Wealth Management Strategies and Co-Director of Advisor Solutions, helping lead strategic initiatives across advisory, brokerage, lending, insurance, retirement, research, and investment solutions. Before joining the firm in 2022, Vinnola held several senior leadership positions at Envestnet, where he led teams responsible for advisor engagement, business development, investment platform adoption, and revenue growth across the western United States.
