Larry Martinez is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of D.A. Davidson Companies, and has been a member of D.A. Davidson’s senior management team throughout his tenure with the firm. He joined D.A. Davidson in 2002 as General Counsel, was appointed Chief Administrative Officer in 2007, President in 2016, and CEO in 2022.
Previously, Larry was a Partner in the Corporate Practice Group with Dorsey & Whitney LLP. He began his career as an associate in the San Francisco office of law firm Brown & Wood, and he later served as the President, CEO and Director of Fireman’s Fund AgriBusiness, Inc., formerly Crop Growers Corp.
Larry holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and is a graduate of the Stanford Law School. He is on the boards of directors of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) and American Securities Association, as well as the advisory board of the Michael G. Foster School of Business at the University of Washington.
