Tim Padala joined D.A. Davidson in May 2019 as a Managing Director, Equity Market Maker, working out of the Red Bank, NJ office. He joined with over 25 years of experience specializing as a Market Maker in small capitalization community banks. Tim uses his extensive industry contacts to provide, find and create liquidity for both Retail and Institutional clients in the lesser traded bank stocks. He has been active as a leading OTCQX Corporate Broker for community banks.
Tim began his career by spending 15 years in Hartford, CT as a Market Maker and Director for Advest, Inc. until their acquisition by Merrill Lynch. Most recently, Tim opened a Market Making desk in Red Bank, NJ for boutique Investment bank FIG Partners, greatly expanding their trading to become a leading Market Maker in over 500 community bank issues.
Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Siena College in upstate New York.
