Peter J. Winter joined D.A. Davidson in September 2022 as a senior research analyst to cover regional banks. He has more than 25 years of sell-side experience with CIBC World Markets, BMO Capital Markets and, most recently, Wedbush Securities.
Peter began his career at Citibank in the Private Banking Division, where he managed an active credit portfolio of $160 million. He completed the two-year commercial credit-training program.
Peter holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and is a member of the Bank and Financial Analysts Association.
Analyst Awards: Peter has been ranked No. 1 in earning estimate accuracy in 2019, 2018, and 2017, and No. 3 in 2016 and 2015 by StarMine. In 2009, he was ranked No. 5 out of 72 analysts by the Wall Street Journal for stock picking.
