Eegan McDermott is a Senior Vice President and Senior Research Analyst at D.A. Davidson, where he covers aerospace and defense companies.
Prior to joining D.A. Davidson in 2026, Eegan was an Equity Research Associate at Jefferies, where he covered the aerospace and defense sector on the No. 1 Extel (formerly Institutional Investor Research) ranked team. During his time there, he maintained financial models and contributed to research covering more than 45 companies while supporting proprietary industry analysis and forecasting. Previously, he worked at Lazard Asset Management, conducting fundamental investment research on utilities and industrials companies.
Eegan graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance with a concentration in Finance and Economics. While at Stevens, he was recognized as an NCAA All-American and served as captain of the golf team.
