Matt Cautero is a Managing Director in D.A. Davidson’s Technology Group where he focuses on vertical software solutions within Retail, Hospitality, and Education. He has 15-plus years of advising private and public companies across various growth stages, including M&A, growth equity, debt financing, and public equity. Most recently, Matt was a was a senior banker at Bank of America, covering retail and hospitality software and education technology, leading the bank’s coverage of Austin, Texas. Prior to Bank of America, he was a senior banker with Lincoln International for more than five years, leading new business development, coverage, and origination within vertical software. Previously, Matt was with Houlihan Lokey, Moelis & Company, and Lazard.
Matt graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He received his MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
