Ted Speyer is a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsors Group at D.A. Davidson, where he focuses on developing relationships with private equity firms and supporting sponsor-backed clients across the firm's advisory and capital markets capabilities. Ted has more than 16 years of capital markets and investment banking experience working with financial sponsors on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, debt advisory, valuation, and exit strategies.
Based in New York, Ted has extensive experience building and managing sponsor relationships across the middle market. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, he launched the financial sponsors coverage franchise at Stout Investment Banking and previously held positions within the Global Financial Sponsors Group and Industry Groups at RBC Capital Markets. Earlier in his career, he worked at J.P. Morgan Investment Banking.
Ted graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with an MBA with distinction and received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Management from McGill University.
