Tim Meyer is a Managing Director in D.A. Davidson’s Capital Advisory Group, where he works with clients to deliver a broad range of private capital solutions, including venture and growth equity, structured and hybrid capital, project equity, recapitalizations, and other strategic financing transactions.
Based in New York, Tim brings extensive private capital markets experience spanning more than 170 completed financings across venture and growth equity, project equity, leveraged loans, mezzanine debt, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations. Throughout his career, he has worked with consumer, diversified industrials, and technology companies while developing deep relationships throughout the institutional investor community.
Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, Tim served as Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Placements at TD Cowen, where he built the firm’s private placements platform into a leading franchise focused on emerging growth companies. Previously, he held senior private capital leadership roles at Marathon Capital, BMO Capital Markets, and ING Barings.
Tim graduated from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing, and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma.
