Grant Knowlton is an institutional salesman who works with customers nationwide including banks, mutual funds, money managers, corporations, municipalities and school districts, insurance companies and not-for-profits. He joined D.A. Davidson & Co. in Kansas City, Missouri, in September 2019 with extensive experience in institutional sales. He began his career at UMB Bank where he spent nine years in both the Kansas City and Denver offices focusing on bond sales and ALM for community banks as well as institutional cash management for the Bank’s corporate and municipal clients. He then spent five years at George K. Baum & Company in Kansas City where he specialized in municipal and taxable bond sales.
Grant brings a diverse experience to the D.A. Davidson team, including: market analysis and investment portfolio strategies; distribution of proprietary municipal, corporate, CD and government bonds; short-term cash and liquidity management; and asset-liability management for banks.
Grant holds a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He is a CFA charterholder and maintains the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.
